Leaking Blower Gasket...........

Yesterday I heard an unusual sound coming from the Blower/Intake manifold area. Kinda sounded a little loud, like air is blowing around but I'm not sure. Also, a few weeks back I noticed a change in my boost gauge. Normally, my gauge reads a steady 7 psi under WOT. And lately it's been reading 8-9 psi.

Does anyone know what a Leaking gasket would sound like so I can better identify the sound I’m hearing? Also, would a leak cause the change in pressure that I am currently seeing on my gauge?

i would think that with a leak, it'd read lower PSI. but im not an expert or anythin

You will show LOWER pressure readings with a leaky seal between the blower and intake manifold. I know, I just wasted a bunch of time fixing Magnuson's shoddy handiwork. With my leak, I experienced lower indicated boost and high idle.

After two month's of having an untracable high pitched squeal which I thought many times was something else, I found the gasket to fail.
I had a very lound high pitched squeal at idle and my idle was high.
Called JR and they are going to send me a new gasket.
